Katsiaryna comes from Belarus, formerly Belarus, and started her higher violin studies in 1994 at the State Music College in Minsk. In 1995 she won the first prize of the “Volodarski Republican Competition for Young Violinists” and became active in the chamber orchestra of the state music college conducted by V.Perlin with tours in Germany, the United Kingdom and France. Later as a member of the Student Orchestra and of the “Sonanta Chamber Orchestra” she toured regularly in Western Europe. Since 2002 she studied at the Royal Music Conservatory of Ghent, first with L. Umnova, later with M.Kugel. In 2009 she graduated as a violinist and in 2011 for teacher training. In 2013 she obtained a Master in Music option Chamber Music at the Lemmensinstituut Leuven and received violin lessons from Lei Wang. In 2018 she obtained level 5 of the Suzuki method and the diploma Postgraduate Suzuki Teacher Training at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp. Nowadays, she participates in various musical projects and works as a freelance musician. She teaches violin at the Music Academy Torhout and Zedelgem. In early 2024, as concertmaster, she will organize the Princess Noor Inayat Khan Memorial Concert, the 80th anniversary of the WWII heroine and children's author Princess Noor Inayat Khan, composed by her youngest brother Hidayat Inayat Khan.
